FARM STORY
Hugo Hernán Moreno’s journey began in 2015, while he was still in high school in Cundinamarca and completing a technical degree in Administrative Assistance at SENA. Coming from a family of coffee growers, Hugo envisioned a business that would enable him to process and sell roasted coffee directly from his farm, bypassing intermediaries to make high-quality coffee more accessible.
With the support of his parents, this idea blossomed into Café Waiva—a brand devoted to cultivating, threshing, roasting, and marketing premium specialty coffee. Over the years, Café Waiva has grown into a family venture, driven by passion and a commitment to sharing the unique flavors of our farm’s coffee with the world.
