Coffee Growers

At our marketplace, we are proud to work with small farmers who produce exceptional single origin coffees in the Andes Mountains of Colombia. These farmers are the backbone of our coffee sourcing, and we are committed to building long-term relationships with them based on trust, respect, and fair trade principles.

Our farmers are deeply rooted in their communities, and their coffee-growing practices are passed down through generations. They take great pride in their craft and are dedicated to producing high-quality coffee beans that showcase the unique flavors of their region. They work tirelessly, carefully cultivating their coffee plants, nurturing them with the right amount of sunlight, rainfall, and care.

One of the reasons we choose to work with small farmers is because of their commitment to sustainable farming practices. Many of our partner farmers in the Andes Mountains of Colombia use organic and regenerative farming methods, which prioritize the health of the soil, water, and surrounding ecosystems. They understand the importance of preserving the natural environment and are passionate about protecting their land for future generations.

Our farmers are also deeply connected to their communities, and they prioritize the well-being of their workers. They provide fair wages and safe working conditions, and they invest in education and healthcare for their employees and their families. By supporting our farmers, you are not only enjoying a delicious cup of coffee, but you are also contributing to the economic and social sustainability of their communities.

We are proud to work directly with our farmers, bypassing middlemen and ensuring that they receive a fair price for their hard work and dedication to producing exceptional coffee. This direct trade approach allows us to establish meaningful relationships with our farmers, and we visit them regularly to deepen our understanding of their practices and ensure that our coffee meets our stringent quality standards.

When you choose our Andean single origin coffees, you are not only indulging in a delicious and aromatic cup of coffee, but you are also supporting the livelihoods of small farmers in the Andes Mountains of Colombia. We are grateful for our farmers' unwavering commitment to their craft and their communities, and we are honored to showcase their coffee in our marketplace.

Thank you for being a part of our journey to support and celebrate these remarkable farmers who bring the flavors of the Andes Mountains of Colombia to your cup. Cheers to the farmers, the land, and the unique flavors that make our coffee truly exceptional!

Meet Our Andean Coffee Farmers

El Roble Farm Domingo Torres 1

Domingo Torres, el roble farm

Residents of Ragonvalia in Norte De Santander Domingo Torres is a father and a farmer who again has to his credit multiple trades- cane cutting in the Cauca Valley and mining in Norte De Santander- before finally pouring all his savings into a dream of growing beautiful coffee planted on the El Roble farm. However, at 1900 meters above sea level, this land was regarded as wasteland by the locals. Nevertheless, Domingo was confident in his faith, his dream and the land and was able to convert the farm into a flourishing coffee plantation.

Jefferson Olaya, El Tesoro Farm

Hello, I'm Jefferson Olaya, a third-generation coffee grower from Planadas, Tolima, where I live and work on El Tesoro, our 10-hectare farm. Here, we focus on specialty coffee, with 50% of our land dedicated to premium varietals. I became a certified Q-Grader 10 years ago, which allows me to meticulously oversee every step of the process and ensure only the highest quality coffee.

My wife and I acquired El Tesoro four years ago and have dedicated ourselves to the art and craft of coffee production. From harvesting, weeding, and pulping to fermenting, drying, and packaging, we manage each part of the process ourselves, ensuring the utmost care and attention in every bean.
