Farm Story
A legacy built on Commitment and Growth
Residents of Ragonvalia in Norte De Santander Domingo Torres is a father and a farmer who again has to his credit multiple trades- cane cutting in the Cauca Valley and mining in Norte De Santander- before finally pouring all his savings into a dream of growing beautiful coffee planted on the El Roble farm. However, at 1900 meters above sea level, this land was regarded as wasteland by the locals. Nevertheless, Domingo was confident in his faith, his dream and the land and was able to convert the farm into a flourishing coffee plantation.
Colombian Excellence that is Award Winning
Come 2022, Domingo evaluated all of his hardwork and saw the fruits. His Geisha’s coffee won the National Coffee Quality Contest and was auctioned off for $78US per pound at the International Fair of Coffee, Cocoa, and Agrotourism held in Neiva. This high-altitude achiever geisha coffee was much sought after in colombian markets as it had complex taste including floral, lime, chamomile, rose tea and peach notes, and hence became an award winning surprise in the colombian coffee scene.
